Intros Space designed the interior for BNBSS Shopping Complex, a multi-shop retail development built to give each individual store its own identity while keeping the overall complex feeling unified and easy to navigate for shoppers.

The biggest challenge in a multi-shop complex is balancing consistency with individuality — each shop unit needed flexible interior frameworks that different tenants could adapt to their own brand, while shared elements like flooring, ceiling height, and corridor lighting keep the complex feeling cohesive from one end to the other.

Common areas and walkways were designed wide and well-lit, encouraging foot traffic to move naturally between shops rather than creating dead zones that tenants struggle to attract customers to. Signage zones were planned into the facade and shop-front design so individual brands stay visible without disrupting the overall look of the complex.

Lighting was layered across two levels — bright, functional lighting in walkways and common areas for visibility and safety, and flexible lighting setups within individual units that tenants can adjust based on their product display needs.

Outdoor and entrance areas received landscape attention as well, with greenery and seating used to make the complex feel more welcoming than a typical concrete shopping block, giving shoppers a reason to linger rather than just pass through.

Material choices throughout prioritize durability — flooring and finishes that hold up under heavy daily foot traffic from both shoppers and delivery activity, which is essential for any shopping complex with multiple active businesses running day to day.
