About This Project

The Barishal Mixed-Use Building is a landmark project by Intros Space, combining commercial and residential functionality within a single, cohesively designed structure. The project reflects our approach to multi-purpose design — where retail or office spaces on the lower levels coexist with comfortable residential units above, without compromising the identity of either function.

Design Concept

Working on this mixed-use structure in Barishal, our team focused on creating clear separation between commercial and residential zones while maintaining one unified architectural language throughout the building. The facade was designed to give the building a strong, modern street presence, while landscape elements were integrated around the structure to soften the transition between the building and its surroundings.

Internally, layouts were planned around natural light and ventilation — a priority for a mixed-use building where both business hours and daily family life need to feel comfortable in the same space. Shared circulation areas were kept clean and functional, ensuring easy movement between commercial and residential sections without the two feeling disconnected.

What We Delivered
For the Barishal Mixed-Use Building, Intros Space delivered a complete architectural and landscape design solution — from facade concept to interior space planning across both commercial and residential floors. Our scope included zoning and layout planning to separate business and living spaces, a contemporary facade design suited to Barishal’s urban context, landscape and green space integration around the building, and material and finish selection consistent across all levels of the structure.
